Movie Poster Research 2

Since I’m doing a horror film instead I researched contemporary horror films and liked these.

I decided to use one of my pictures that I took about two years ago with a scanner for a horror movie haha and this is my progress so far.

Research for Movie Poster

I want to create a cartoon movie but I’m still debating on what kinda of character I want to make. So far I’ve been thinking of using my practice character and just tweak it. I would also like to add other characters so my poster doesn’t look too empty. It’s either that idea or I want to create a little circus movie that includes an elephant as the main character. I looked up some of my favorite cartoons that I searched up that may help me create my poster.  

My Art Event Flyer

I think I could’ve done a better job with my Art Event poster, but I just didn’t want to complicate things by adding too much to my design. So, I kept it simple.

I didn’t do any research for this flyer design but I think I should but here’s my sketch.

Final Design and Analysis of Critique

My character turned out to be totally different from what I first started out with and I’m pretty happy with it. I came a long way since it was kind of hard for me to work with her hair. One of my critiques was that the speakers could have been more brighter because it kind of blended in with the black background, but I actually like that effect on it.

Typography Video

Although I wanted to see the Justice videos on the site, I liked this video out of the others the most because it describes the 5 senses that we have.  I liked the visual effects and how it starts out with seeing. Without seeing we wouldn’t be able to see this video. I also like the quotes, the typography Brent chose, and the color scheme he uses for each scene with making it look delicate. Overall, I really liked how the video was well put together especially with the song.
